The Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) team has a long history of supporting the Navy's mission to provide affordable and credible strategic defense. With over 60 years of experience, the team has developed a unique expertise in

As the FBM Parts Associate Manager at Lockheed Martin Space, you have an immediate impact in shaping the organization’s future. This is an opportunity to lead a dynamic PMP team supporting Missile programs. Drawing
upon previous leadership experience and your own technical expertise, you will help your team overcome challenges and build the organizational talent to solve the challenges of the future.
In this role you will:
• Drive execution of the components engineering portion of the Parts, Materials and Processes team
• Exercise your expertise in the application of all parts, materials, and processes disciplines in support of NGI development and production
• Staff and assign Component Engineering personnel to technical engineering assignments ensuring program success
• Lead the resolution of critical issues & maintain awareness, engagement and communication of critical issues and their reach across programs
• Perform functional management tasks including coaching, group & individual development, and performance management for your team
• Apply Leadership principles to help the team adjust to a new organizational paradigm.

Basic Qualifications:• Previous experience in Electrical/ Electronic/
Electromechanical (EEE) Parts or related field
• Experience guiding the successful completion of significant projects and/or multi-discipline team efforts by applying technical knowledge and leadership skills
• Familiar with key aspects of parts / components engineering (specifications, selection, qualification/screening, receiving inspection, Destructive Physical Analysis)
• Broad knowledge of Parts, Materials and Processes (PMP) & Specialty Engineering requirements for high-reliability military
program.
• Willingness/eligibility to obtain a Secret security clearance - US citizenship required
Desired Skills:• Experience in mentoring and supporting career development
• Proven ability to build a team and set a business rhythm to achieve program objectives and priorities
• Experience establishing and implementing technical requirements (specifications, program plans/requirements, etc.)
• Experience with part procurement, qualification and traceability issues
• Experience in review and oversight of Technology Development, Qualification and Insertion in programs
• Experience participating in major program milestone reviews such as SRR, PDR and/or CDR
• Experience providing schedule, staffing, workload, metrics and technical issue briefings to management
• Ability to balance cost, schedule and risk in decision making
• Knowledge of natural and/or man-made radiation effects on EEE parts and/or materials
• Non-conformance and failure analysis disposition experience
• Familiar with using business tools and systems for configuration management and quality control (e.g. SAP, EPDM, PMPDB, LIMS)
• Project Leadership/Management Experience throughout the engineering life cycle: scoping, sizing, cost estimation, planning, scheduling, staffing, tracking and earned value
management
• Experience working reciprocally with customers and teammates
• Active or Current Secret clearance

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
