Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a
Senior System Administrator to join our team in
King of Prussia, PA!
As a Senior Systems Administrator you will:
- Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of Information Technology (IT) systems for multiple locations.
- Manage IT system infrastructure and provide support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all the client/server/storage devices.
- Provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problems.
- Provide support for system hardware problems and remain involved in the resolution process
- Assist in arranging for services of outside vendors; understanding the required supplies and repair parts needed to maintain system performance, including working with logistics personnel to orders parts as needed.
- Respond to emergency maintenance requests as required.
- Perform a variety of work in the maintenance and repair of site equipment as needed.

Basic Qualifications:- Experience with deploying and managing Linux OS
- Experience with deploying and managing Windows OS
- Experience with vSphere
- Current CompTIA Security+ certification
Security Clearance / Work Authorization:
• To meet requirements of the program/customer, this position requires the selected employee to be a U.S. Citizen.
• Prior to starting employment, selected candidates will be required to possess TS/SCI w/Poly clearance. For this position, applicants must possess a currently Active TS/SCI w/Poly security clearance to be considered.
Desired Skills:- Experience trouble-shooting and managing software/hardware related to servers, virtual machines, and implementing access management controls/account management practices
- Strong oral/written communication skills
- Self-driven, ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Proven experience working in a collaborative environment with cross-functional teams
- Advanced working knowledge and skills associated with computer based maintenance related to digital processing systems/subsystems utilizing Linux, Microsoft, and/or other operating systems
- Experience in event log management, basic networking, personal computer applications, data security administration, SAN hardware
- Experience working in a classified/access-controlled facility
- Experience with security data classification guidelines
- Red Hat Certified System Administrator
- Microsoft certified system administrator
- Technical engineering degree and / or military background
- Willingness to travel (up to 10%)

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
