We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated AI Data Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in designing, building, and optimizing cloud-based data pipelines and AI data platforms that support our enterprise-scale initiatives in an IC customer space. This role demands technical expertise, strategic thinking, and hands-on experience with Oracle-based systems in high-volume environments. Responsibilities
Required Skills:
- Ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI with poly required
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in data engineering, ETL development, or database management and building enterprise-scale mission systems, preferably within the federal sector
- Experience with managing geospatial intelligence data (vectors and rasters)
- Familiarity with Cloud platforms such as Oracle, AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Strong experience with architecting and implementing Oracle Databases
- AI-enabling data using Vector data type, RAG, and MCP
- Strong knowledge of ETL pipeline design (including data transformations)and implementation for large-scale data systems
- Containers/Kubernetes
- Proficiency in shell scripting, Python, or other automation tools
- Familiarity with data governance, metadata management, and data lineage practices
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams including data scientists, DBAs, and business analysts
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for documenting and presenting solutions
Desired Skills:
- Designing multi-modal databases that integrate multiple data types, including:
- Relational
- Spatial
- JSON
- Graph
- Knowledge of data security best practices and regulatory compliance
- Experience with DevOps and CI/CD pipelines in a data engineering context
- Creating and deploying RESTful APIs; Oracle API Gateway
- Oracle certifications (e.g., Oracle Database Certified Professional or OCI Architect Professional) are a plus
- Experience supporting Intelligence Community (IC)-related agencies
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and innovative thinking skills

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $97,500 to $209,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
