KBR is looking for a motivated Systems Engineer to join our team and provide Systems Engineer Technical Advisor (SETA) support for theIntelligence Community CustomerGround Enterprise Directorate (GED). GED plays a critical role in enabling theIntelligence Community Customerto plan and execute intelligence-gathering missions, transforming collected data into useful information for the Intelligence Community (IC) and Department of Defense (DoD) users.
In this role, you will have the chance to design, develop, test, and deliver products that support our customers’ advanced systems. You'll collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams focused on hardware, software,system integration, anddata analysisto help achieve important missions and meet requirements.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assist in the implementation of agency approaches toSystems Engineering(SE) and SE Management.
- Provide mission expertise inGEOINTground (G2),SIGINTground (SG), to enhance SE procedures.
- Collaborate with teams to analyze and interpret simulation data to influence decision-making.
- Engage in the development, maintenance, management, and implementation of system architectures.
- Facilitate requirement traceability and validation through collaboration with stakeholders.
- Enable the achievement of mission capabilities through effective integration of engineering disciplines.
- Participate in the development and delivery of training programs covering tradecraft,agile development,DevSecOps,Digital Engineering, and new technologies.
- Support processes associated with change andconfiguration managementfor systems in development and implementation.
- Assist in the development, maintenance, and management of project roadmaps and schedules.
- Participate in risk assessment and management processes to identify opportunities and mitigate potential issues.
- Collaborate with teams to develop action plans for risk mitigation.
- Support activities related to system readiness, testing, verification, and validation. ensuring compliance with established standards and requirements.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline with 5-10 years of experience.
- Experience withAgile developmentmethodologies.
- Experience withMachine Learning/Artificial Intelligenceconcepts, tools, and systems
- Knowledge ofIC overhead collection systemsand processing
- Understanding of planning and integrating secure solutions based on legal, policy, and compliance directives.
- Experience withModel-Based Systems Engineering.
- Experience in developing requirements for system performance, availability, scalability, manageability, and security for mid-to-large-scale systems.
- Active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance with adjudicated polygraph
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of the IntelligenceCommunity CustomerSystem Engineering process and familiarity with terms such as Interface Control Documents (ICDs), System Requirements Documents (SRD), and Preliminary Design Reviews (PDR).
Additional Compensation:
KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of sign on bonus, relocation benefits, short-term incentives, long-term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
