As an Electrical Engineer (III, Senior, or Staff), you will play a critical role in designing and optimizing electrical systems that power essential infrastructure—pipelines, compressor stations, and storage facilities. This is a high-impact opportunity to lead technical solutions, integrate advanced technologies, and directly influence reliability, safety, and operational performance across our assets.
You’ll work on complex, large-scale projects while collaborating with cross-functional teams and applying cutting-edge solutions such as automation, real-time monitoring, and energy storage. Key Responsibilities
Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of electrical systems and power distribution networks supporting critical infrastructure
Drive the integration of advanced technologies (automation, real-time monitoring, energy storage) to improve system efficiency and reliability
Implement safety-focused solutions including arc flash mitigation, fault detection, and risk-reduction strategies
Provide technical expertise in electrical design, system layouts, and schematics for both new construction and system upgrades
Manage engineering projects from concept through execution, ensuring alignment with scope, schedule, budget, and business objectives
Ensure compliance with applicable electrical, environmental, and regulatory standards (NEC, NEMA, IEEE, API, etc.)
Collaborate with operations, project management, and external partners to deliver high-quality engineering solutions
Mentor and support development of junior engineers (Senior/Staff levels) and contribute to knowledge sharing and continuous improvement
Electrical Engineer III
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (ABET-accredited), or Engineering Technology with P.E. license
4+ years of relevant experience
Preferred:
Senior Electrical Engineer
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (ABET-accredited), or Engineering Technology with P.E. license
8+ years of relevant experience
Preferred:
Professional Engineer (P.E.) license
Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering
Experience leading projects or mentoring engineers
Staff Electrical Engineer
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (ABET-accredited), or Engineering Technology with P.E. license
15+ years of relevant experience (natural gas, energy, data centers, or similar industries)
Demonstrated leadership on complex, large-scale projects
Preferred:
Technical & Professional Requirements
Strong commitment to safety, with demonstrated application in engineering design and execution
Working knowledge of electrical codes and standards (NEC, NEMA, IEEE, API, etc.)
Experience reviewing and improving arc flash studies
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general engineering tools
Preferred experience with:
PLC and HMI systems
Instrumentation design and implementation
Project management methodologies
FEED / Pre-FEED / EPC project environments
