About the Role:
CBRE is seeking an Operations Management Consultant to support a leading, innovation-driven organization. This client is known for delivering advanced technology, mission critical systems, and engineering excellence that support security and global operations. As a CBRE Operations Management Consultant, you will execute projects that involve corporate strategy and organizational development.
In this onsite position in based in Reston, VA , you will play a key role in optimizing operational efficiency, enhancing workflows, and driving strategic initiatives across facilities and asset management programs. This role requires a forward-thinking professional who can leverage data insights, collaborate with senior stakeholders, and influence operations outcomes.
What You’ll Do:
Oversee Work Control operations, including data input, quality assurance, and alignment with long-term business strategies. Assess unusual circumstances, varied techniques, and incomplete or conflicting data.
Analyze and interpret data using CMMS and other systems to identify trends, improve workflow efficiency, and inform decision-making.
Lead asset management efforts, including inventory tracking, lifecycle planning, and supporting capital planning initiatives.
Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce operational strain (e.g. overtime), and enhance service delivery.
Manage and execute small to mid-sized projects focused on operational improvements and SOP development.
Serve as a liaison between client stakeholders and internal teams, including regular interaction with senior executives.
Provide leadership and guidance to team members, including supervision and training support.
Support facility operations, including responding to urgent or emergency needs, while maintaining compliance with safety standards.
Apply in-depth knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures to accomplish complex assignments and provide innovative solutions.
Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. What You’ll Need:
Bachelor’s degree preferred with 5+ years of relevant experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
Strong strategic thinking skills with the ability to analyze multiple data sources and drive actionable insights.
Experience with CMMS systems and data management to support operational decision-making.
Solid understanding of asset management and capital planning processes.
Knowledge of OSHA standards and familiarity with building systems.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with senior leadership.
Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Ops Management Consultant position is $120,000 annually and the maximum salary for the Ops Management Consultant position is $140,000 annually. The compensation offered to a successful candidate will depend on their skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s applicable benefit program. This role will provide the following benefits: 401(K), Dental insurance, Health insurance, Life insurance, and Vision insurance.
