Overview
The
FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment) Technician is responsible for providing hands-on support for office moves, furniture relocations, event setups, and equipment installations for employees and departments. This role coordinates and executes the setup and breakdown of chairs, tables, podiums, AV equipment, and other event furnishings according to approved plans and work orders. The FF&E Technician works closely with the FF&E Project Manager, utilizes specialized moving equipment as needed, and may oversee third-party vendors to ensure services are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule. The ideal candidate is dependable, customer-service oriented, and capable of performing physically demanding work, including lifting heavy objects, working independently, and supporting occasional after-hours requests to meet client and business needs.
Pay: $20 - $23

Responsibilities
- The FF&E Tech will set up and take down chairs, tables, podiums, AV equipment and floor coverings as directed in the event setup plan.
- FF&E Tech will use special handling equipment as necessary.
- FF&E Tech will take guidance from the FF&E Project Manager in the performance of duties.
- The FF&E Tech will direct 3rd party vendors as necessary to fulfill work orders.
- Occasionally work outside of normal business hours in order to fulfill client requests.
Qualifications
Essential Duties:
- Provides manual labor in relocating furnishings, event setup equipment, general move requests, and some equipment installation
- Reviews work order tickets to ensure all move and equipment-related services are completed
- Follows work schedules and FF&E calendar created by FF&E manager in accordance with business hours as outlined within contractual agreements between ABM and the client.
- Completes meeting and class set up requests
- Handles key and lock requests from clients
- Perform other duties as assigned. Job duties may be modified at any time.
Minimum Requirements:
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to work shifts.
• Ability to lift heavy objects, work independently, meet schedules and time lines.
