About The Role
TheBusiness Transformation team, part of the Strategy & Transformationfunction, drives strategic transformation programs across CBRE InvestmentManagement’s global organization to improve business performance. Operatingwith significant autonomy, this role carries end-to-end accountability for thedesign, analysis and delivery of strategic transformation programs spanningmultiple functions and geographies. As a Director, you will use your specialistexpertise to lead the initiation and execution of transformation initiativesbringing innovative ideas, actively managing risk and creating a strong visionfor the overall objective. You will collaborate with key stakeholders toidentify, scope, evaluate and prioritize strategic initiatives, and provide theinsight, analysis and rationale to support or challenge them. As a trustedchange leader, you will support sponsors and senior leaders in their own rolesas change leaders through coaching, facilitating and influencing, whilebringing external perspective and market insight to the firm.
What You’llDo
– Lead the initiation and execution oftransformation initiatives, using specialist knowledge to bring innovativeideas and actively manage risk.
– Collaborate with key stakeholders toidentify, scope, evaluate and prioritize strategic initiatives.
– Provide insight, analysis andrationale to support or challenge initiatives, creating a strong vision for theoverall objective for key stakeholders.
– Align the objectives, benefits andoutcomes of initiatives with Leadership and the Business Transformation Groupto ensure cohesion and support of the overall business strategy.
– Support sponsors and senior leadersin their role as change leaders through coaching, facilitating and influencing.
– Bring external perspectives andbusiness insights on the latest market developments by attending andparticipating in industry seminars and reading relevant publications.
– Provide informal supervision withina project-based framework and, where required, take on formal supervisoryresponsibilities.
– Mentor and coach team members tofurther develop their competencies.
– Lead transformation programsend-to-end, owning problem framing, strategic direction, solution design,business readiness and sustained adoption across multiple workstreams.
– Build strong, trusted relationshipswith senior executives informing their decisions and coaching them and theirsponsors as change leaders in transformation and change management bestpractice.
– Shape and challenge the strategicagenda, providing the insight, analysis and rationale to support or challengeinitiatives and to create a compelling future-state vision for keystakeholders.
– Apply business architecture andsystems thinking principles to frame options, weigh trade-offs and recommendthe strongest solution, actively managing risk throughout.
– Own the change management approachacross programs, including impact assessments, stakeholder engagement,communications, training and adoption.
– Bring external perspective and marketinsight to the firm, drawing on industry networks, seminars and research toinform our transformation agenda.
What You’llNeed
– Minimum of 10 years’ relevantworking experience in investment management, real assets or a closely adjacentfinancial services environment, with the industry and institutional knowledgeto operate credibly alongside business SMEs
– Bachelor’s degree in Business,Finance, Real Estate or Technology, or equivalent professional experience; apractitioner qualification in a relevant discipline (e.g. PROSCI, CBAP, ACMP)is desirable
– Proven ability to build and sustaintrusted relationships with senior executives, and to influence and coach themas change leaders, an expert communicator who adapts across audiences fromoperational teams to the C-suite
– Strong track record of leadingcomplex, multi-workstream transformation programs end-to-end and withsignificant autonomy, delivering measurable business outcomes
– Experienced and autonomouspractitioner, capable of leading complex, multi-workstream transformationprograms without close oversight
– Demonstrated ability to engage,influence and manage senior stakeholders, including global leadership teammembers, across multiple geographies and functions
– Strong understanding of operatingmodel design and strategic transformation, including organizational design,process architecture and capability development
– Experienced in change management,process reengineering, business analysis or a related transformation discipline(e.g. PROSCI, CBAP, ACMP or equivalent)
– Proficient business acumen, withdeep industry and institutional knowledge of investment management andawareness of the wider commercial and competitive landscape
– Ability to embed credibly within abusiness team as a trusted partner while maintaining transformation disciplineand independence of perspective
– Applicantsmust be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need forvisa sponsorship now or in the future

CBRE Investment Management carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for this position is $185,000 annually and the maximum salary for the position is $200,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates may also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s applicable benefit program.
