Description:WHAT WE'RE DOINGOur team supports critical military and commercial helicopter programs by ensuring a reliable, cost-effective supply base for production and aftermarket operations. This role plays a key part in developing sourcing strategies, strengthening supplier partnerships, and supporting the long-term sustainment of U.S. Government and S-92 aircraft programs.
THE WORKAs a Sourcing Specialist, you'll lead sourcing initiatives from strategy through supplier selection. You'll develop and execute sourcing plans, issue RFQs, evaluate supplier proposals, and support contract compliance. You'll analyze historical pricing and performance data to drive informed sourcing decisions, identify supply chain risks and opportunities, build strong supplier relationships, and work cross-functionally to ensure sourcing solutions meet cost, schedule, quality, and program requirements.

Basic Qualifications:Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience/combined education).
Experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, supply chain, subcontracts, purchasing, or supplier management.
Experience negotiating pricing, terms, and conditions with suppliers.
Experience working in a cross-functional environment with internal stakeholders.
Desired Skills:Knowledge of the Sikorsky proposal process.
Experience developing and managing Request for Quotations (RFQs), supplier evaluations, and source selection activities.
Understanding of Bill of Materials.
Experience coordinating complex estimates with
changing requirements and deadlines.
Knowledge of acquisition policies and procedures such as FAR / DFAR / TINA.
SAP experience.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
