As a Builder Lead, you won’t just use AI yourself – you’ll create the conditions where your entire team operates AI-first. You’ll set the standard for how Builders integrate AI into their workflow, remove blockers to adoption, and ensure AI-driven delivery translates into measurable outcomes for customers and the business. We’ve moved beyond traditional management by making AI a core part of how we lead, enable, and multiply output. We are looking for Builder Leads who are genuinely excited about AI as a force multiplier for teams. What you’ll do:
-Own your team’s delivery outcomes, using AI-first workflows as the default operating model
-Establish and maintain team AI practices – tooling, patterns, and standards that multiply Builder output
-Coach Builders on effective AI integration, raising the team’s collective fluency
-Hire and develop Builders who thrive in an AI-native environment
-Remove technical and organizational blockers that prevent your team from shipping at pace
Key job responsibilities
AI-native leadership – You don’t just use AI tools yourself; you build the culture, workflows, and standards that make your entire team AI-native. You measure your success by your team’s AI fluency and output, not just your own.
Builder enablement – You remove friction, establish patterns, and create the environment where Builders do their best work. You know that your job is to multiply others, not to be the loudest individual contributor.
Outcome ownership – You own your team’s delivery end-to-end: quality, velocity, cost, and customer impact. You translate ambiguous business problems into clear execution plans and hold yourself accountable to results.
Technical credibility – You understand what your Builders build deeply enough to challenge designs, unblock technical decisions, and know when AI-assisted approaches will accelerate delivery vs. add risk.
Transparent communication – You make your team’s work, progress, and challenges visible. You surface problems early, share context generously, and ensure alignment without requiring escalation.
Talent bar ownership – You hire, develop, and retain Builders who raise the team’s collective capability. You make hard calls on performance and invest disproportionately in your strongest contributors.
A day in the life
You lead a team and you lead differently because of AI. You’ve built team workflows around LLMs, AI agents, and AI-assisted development tools and can point to where your team’s output changed as a result. You own your team’s delivery, set the pace, and your impact shows up in what your Builders ship – not just what you ship yourself. You demonstrate influence by establishing AI-first practices, automating team workflows, and creating an environment where every Builder on your team delivers more than they thought possible.

The minimum base pay salary for this position is listed below. As a total compensation company, Amazon's package may include further pay components such as a sign on payment and the eligibility to participate in a restricted stock unit scheme operated independently by Amazon.com Inc. in USA. Your recruiting team will share final base pay and any applicable total compensation elements depending on skills and requirements.
Company discretionary, supplementary benefits apply subject to further terms, including pension plans, health insurance, life and disability insurance, business travel insurance, MultiSport card, employee discount code and program (EDC/Extras), commuter benefits where applicable, and the Employee Assistance Program (private and confidential counselling and referral service to support health and well-being). The minimum base pay for this position is PLN 33,200 monthly.
