As the MM you will handlemultiple internal and external functions of material handling operations andmaintenance of a fulfillment center site. You will also serve as theReliability and Maintenance Engineering leader and partner directly with theclient’s General Manager and senior operations staff to deliver best-in-classmaintenance. What You’ll Do
Maintain asafety-first culture in which CBRE employees return home in the same conditionin which they reported to work.
Provide subjectmatter expertise to employees involved in the maintenance of miles ofhigh-speed conveyance and robotic product movement systems.
Provide formalsupervision to individual employees within a single functional or operationalarea.
Provide coaching andmentoring to all employees on the proper execution of CBRE’s preventivemaintenance strategies, including completing PM and PDM tasks daily, whiledocumenting all corrective work required to maintain a sophisticated conveyancesystem.
Direct the localteam to meet targets associated with daily maintenance related metrics.
Responsible for theexecution of the maintenance-related budget for the fulfillment center.
Approvesubordinate's recommendations for staff recruitment, selection, promotion,advancement, corrective action and termination. Effectively recommends same forall employees to next level management for review and approval.
Plan and monitorappropriate staffing levels and utilization of labor, including overtime.
Prepare and deliverperformance appraisal for staff.
Participate incorporate-sponsored programs & activities as required, including incidentinvestigations, interviews, auditing, and assessments, etc.
Leads by example andmodels behaviors that are consistent with the company's values.
Cultivate positive working relationships with our Clientand the Operations Maintenance team members. What You’ll Need
Bachelor's (BA/BS)degree in a technical field (Industrial, Electrical, Mechanical, Civil)required.
Minimum of 5+ yearsdemonstrated ability to lead and coach employee performance in a manufacturingenvironment. Must include experience in supervising hourly and salaryemployees.
2+ years workingdirectly with the maintenance and upkeep of material handling equipment.
2+ years inpackaging automation, distribution processes, and mechanical systems involvingpower transmission through gearboxes and belts.
Excellentcommunication, presentation, problem solving and analytical skills.
Advanced knowledgeof financial terms and principles, as well as financial reporting, forecastingand budgeting
Proficient MicrosoftOffice Suite experience (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
Expert levelanalytical and quantitative skills with experience in developing strategicsolutions for a growing matrix-based multi-industry sales environment.
Ability to read andinterpret drawings, blueprints, and/or schematics.
Knowledge ofmaterials, methods, and tools used to perform maintenance and repair ofmanufacturing equipment.
Understanding ofpredictive maintenance technologies such as thermography, vibration analysis,and air borne ultra-sound.
Must have anunderstanding of repairs and preventive/predictive maintenance on electricaland mechanical equipment.
Ability to traveloff-site as needed.
Physicalrequirements including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs / laddersand ability to lift / carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more. CBRE Employee Benefits

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Maintenance Manager position is $159, 598.40 annually [or $76.73 per hour] and the maximum salary for the Maintenance Manager position is $166, 691.20 annually [or $80.14 per hour]. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience.
