What You'll Be Doing
- Lead procurement activities across goods, services, and Capital Expenditure in alignment with corporate strategy.
- Drive regional implementation of category strategies for most goods and services; ensure small, one‑off purchases are managed locally per policy.
- Negotiate and manage agreements delivering best total value (cost, service, quality, risk).
- Ensure adherence to procurement policies, competitive bidding standards, and ethical practices.
- Lead S2P process improvements and digital tool adoption (e.g., SAP, Ariba).
- Support supplier improvement initiatives focused on quality, delivery, cost, safety, and service.
- Act as the primary procurement partner to regional operations and capital project teams.
- Coach buyers and stakeholders on sourcing, negotiations, and contract management.
- Participate in multi‑disciplinary teams supporting operational and capital initiatives.
- Travel as required to support plants, projects, and supplier engagements.
What Are We Looking For
- University or college degree in a technical, economic, financial, business, or related field required; Supply Chain Management Professional (SCMP) accreditation preferred.
- Minimum five (5) years of experience in procurement and contract management required; experience within a manufacturing, production, and/or construction environment preferred
- Experience with SAP Ariba and SAP procurement processes, including source of supply, purchasing info records, MRP, purchase orders, and contract management, as well as other ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience and/or interest in electronic bidding/e-auctions and E-procurement.
- Strong negotiation skills.
