Overview
ABM is looking for a Maintenance Labor to supports a building or a facility by doing things like changing light bulbs, cleaning spills, emptying trash and light mechanical maintenance. They will also do regular housekeeping to keep areas clean and safe. The Maintenance staff will report safety hazards and larger maintenance problems to a supervisor. They will also keep track and report on supplies inventory. The Maintenance staff must be flexible and willing to complete all tasks that are assigned.

Responsibilities
Maintenance laborers perform a wide range of tasks to ensure facilities operate smoothly:
Building Repairs: Fixing drywall, painting walls, repairing doors, windows, and floors.
Systems Upkeep: Performing basic repairs and preventative maintenance on plumbing (clogs, leaks), electrical (, bulbs), and HVAC systems (filters, belts).
Safety & Inspections: Conducting routine inspections of premises and equipment to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety codes.
Equipment Maintenance: Cleaning, lubricating, ect.
Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous experience in janitorial, custodial, or general cleaning roles is a plus
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Familiarity with cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety standards
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
