Responsibilities
- Utilize the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care and contracted services
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and document patient response
- Monitor patient progress and evaluate outcomes related to established goals
- Recognize changes in patient condition and communicate updates to the physician and clinical supervisor
- Document all care coordination and physician collaboration accurately in the medical record
- Ensure a safe patient environment while following infection control and universal precaution standards
- Provide high-quality, compassionate care in a home setting
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Current CPR certification
- Current PPD or Chest X-Ray, if applicable
- Less than 12 months of nursing experience
