Maxim Healthcare Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to support students at Forge Prep in Livingston, NJ. This part-time opportunity offers a consistent schedule of two days per week and the chance to make a meaningful impact in a school setting.
We are looking for a reliable nursing professional who can commit to working throughout the entire school year, providing continuity of care and support to students and staff.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care and first aid to students and staff as needed
- Assess and respond to illnesses, injuries, and health concerns
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders
- Monitor students with chronic health conditions
- Maintain accurate and confidential health records
- Collaborate with parents, educators, and healthcare providers
- Ensure compliance with school health policies and state regulations
Qualifications
- Active New Jersey Registered Nurse (RN) license required
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently in a school environment
- School nursing or pediatric experience preferred but not required
Schedule & Compensation
- 2 days per week
