Job Summary:
Mission Health, in affiliation with Sarah Cannon Cancer Network, is seeking a Head & Neck Surgical Oncologist to join our team in Asheville, North Carolina. This employed opportunity offers the ability to join a growing regional referral program serving a broad and complex patient population.
Qualified Candidates- Board eligible or board certified in Otolaryngology
- Fellowship training in Head & Neck Surgical Oncology and Microvascular Reconstruction required
- Must be eligible for North Carolina medical licensure
- New graduates and experienced physicians encouraged to apply
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaborative skills
- Commitment to multidisciplinary, patient-centered cancer care
Practice Overview- Join an established practice consisting of two experienced Head & Neck Surgical Oncologists
- Opportunity to further develop and grow a premier regional Head & Neck Oncology Program
- Multidisciplinary cancer care team supported by APPs, nurse navigators, speech pathology, rehabilitation services, nutrition, oncology social work, and dedicated tumor board review
- Outpatient clinic conveniently located on the Mission Hospital campus
- Shared call coverage among practice providers
- Dedicated OR block time supporting surgical efficiency and growth
- Access to seven da Vinci robotic surgical systems
