Apply your expertise to advance the mission and optimize our business strategy as a Business Development Senior Director - Air Force and U.S. Space Force at GDIT. Here, you’ll support solving some of our clients’ biggest challenges and help us grow the business.
Our work depends on a Business Development Senior Director - Air Force and U.S. Space Force joining our team to leverage their knowledge to develop customer and partner engagement plans and provide thought leadership in the marketplace, leading to the development and execution of GDIT strategies and initiatives.
MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT
As a Business Development Senior Director, the work you’ll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission of the Air Force and the U.S. Space Force. You will play a crucial role in developing a pipeline of new opportunities and important customer missions.

Develops and maintains customer business relationships in domestic and/or international government markets.

Works well with broad GDIT to create and optimize solutions and win strategies

Works well with the team to solve client challenges

Lead capture and technical teams with the most up to date and most relevant information from the client

Own a pipeline of opportunities and qualify those deals that are the best fit for GDIT.

Maintain relationships with key decision makers on both the Program Management side as well as the technical side.

Prioritize the pipeline to the best fit for GDIT.

Lead critical bids to the Sector within all acquisition styles including large enterprise deals and small strategic deals.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED

Education: Bachelor’s degree required

Experience: 10+ years of related experience and a recent track record of success

Skills: Able to discuss the most relevant technology topics and tie to GDIT's approach

Role requirements: Candidates invited to interview should be prepared to talk through their experience and role in capture pursuits and provide a deal sheet upon request

Security Clearance Required: Secret Clearance required to start, with ability to obtain a Top Secret Clearance

Location : Remote with travel per needs of the opportunity up to 25%.

The likely salary range for this position is $215,467 - $285,200. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.

To encourage work/life balance, GDIT offers employees full flex work weeks where possible and a variety of paid time off plans, including vacation, sick and personal time, holidays, paid parental, military, bereavement and jury duty leave. GDIT typically provides new employees with 15 days of paid leave per calendar year to be used for vacations, personal business, and illness and an additional 10 paid holidays per year. Paid leave and paid holidays are prorated based on the employee’s date of hire. The GDIT Paid Family Leave program provides a total of up to 160 hours of paid leave in a rolling 12 month period for eligible employees.
