Job Summary and Qualifications:
Supervises, coordinate and participate in activities of Courier services, Mission Health System, to transport and maintain logs of time sensitive specimens, mail, radiology and laboratory results, SPD items, Pharmacy items, and other items as defined between Mission Health System Laboratories, Hospitals, physician practices, buildings, remote areas as necessary according to established schedules. Operate vans and cars when necessary. Schedule operations and oversee the maintenance of vehicles. Plan and schedule work for Couriers ensuring proper distribution of work assignments and adequate coverage of vehicles and work locations.
What qualifications you will need:
- Required Education: Bachelor’s Degree or work experience in the lieu of.
- Required Experience: Three years of logistical and supervision experience in area. Computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets, Internet and Intranet software, e-mail. Demonstrated ability to manage logistical operations, and to lead and develop staff. Strong operations, communication, financial, and customer service skills required.
- Preferred Experience: Logistical management of multi-site operations in healthcare industry
