Maxim Healthcare Services is seeking compassionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to provide 1:1 behavioral support for clients in home and/or school settings. This rewarding role allows you to make a direct difference in the lives of children and adolescents by helping them develop communication, social, adaptive, and behavioral skills that promote independence and success.
Working under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), you will implement individualized treatment plans and support clients in achieving meaningful goals in their daily environments.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct one-on-one Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy services in home and/or school settings.
- Implement individualized treatment plans and behavior intervention strategies designed by a BCBA.
- Assist clients in developing communication, social, academic, self-help, and daily living skills.
- Collect and record accurate data regarding client progress and behavioral outcomes.
- Reinforce positive behaviors using evidence-based ABA techniques.
- Collaborate with caregivers, teachers, and other members of the healthcare team to ensure continuity of care.
- Maintain professional and therapeutic relationships with clients and families.
- Report significant changes, concerns, or incidents to supervising clinicians.
- Comply with all company policies, HIPAA regulations, and documentation requirements.
Qualifications
- Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Education, Social Work, Behavioral Health, or a related field preferred.
- Experience working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or developmental disabilities preferred.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently while following clinical guidance.
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel to client locations as needed.
- Current CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
- Ability to pass background screening and state-required clearances.
