Your Role And Responsibilities
As a Product Manager: Artificial Intelligence, you will provide detailed direction on key technical and marketing tasks to launch an offering feature, offering, or collection of offerings in the portfolio. You will be accountable for key outcome metrics, including customer satisfaction, accessibility, and revenue and AI profitability of assigned offering. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Drive Offering Development: Collaborate with development leaders, product architects, product designers, and key customers to package features into offering releases, ensuring offering designs reflect business objectives.
- Deliver Customer Validation: Drive customer validation through beta programs and client meetings, confirming requirements are addressed by the delivered solution and analyzing feedback to identify potential gaps or opportunities.
- Manage Offering Delivery: Negotiate offering contracts with development teams, drive cross-functional collaborative efforts to meet offering schedule commitments and actively manage the plan of delivery including associated risks.
- Showcase Offering Capabilities: Demonstrate offering capabilities and value proposition to external stakeholders, including customers, partners, and analysts. Develop Digital Assets: Work with development and marketing to deliver digital assets in support of always-on marketing and digital engagement, such as interactive demos and trials/evaluations. Leaders are expected to spend time with their teams and clients and therefore, are generally expected to be in the workplace a minimum of three days a week subject to business needs.

Required Technical And Professional Expertise
- Deep Knowledge of AI Solutions: Deep expertise in IBM's AI Solution portfolio, including areas such as machine learning, deep learning, reinforcement learning, brain-inspired algorithms, and knowledge representation and reasoning.
- Technical Direction Experience: Experience with providing detailed direction on key technical tasks to launch an offering feature, offering, or collection of offerings in the portfolio.
- Outcome Metrics Management: Experience in managing key outcome metrics, including customer satisfaction, accessibility, and
- revenue and profitability of assigned offerings.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Experience with driving cross-functional collaborative efforts to meet offering schedule commitments and managing associated risks.
- Specialized AI Expertise: Deep expertise in areas such as computer vision, NLP, question answering, and quantum and neuromorphic architectures for next-generation AI.
Preferred Technical And Professional Experience
- Advanced AI Research Knowledge: Familiarity with research in areas such as causal inference, knowledge induction, and symbolic and trainable logic can be beneficial in this role.
- Next-Generation AI Expertise: Knowledge of emerging technologies like quantum and neuromorphic architectures can be advantageous in developing innovative AI solutions.
- Specialized AI Application Experience: Exposure to applying AI solutions in various industries or domains can be valuable in understanding customer needs and developing effective solutions.
