Job Summary and Qualifications
Primarily leads, directs, and coaches the CS/SPD teams to the highest standard of performance in cleaning, sterilization, inventory management, distribution of supplies and safety standards.
What you will do in the role:
- Demonstrates working to achieve goals set in previous evaluation.
- Demonstrates professional behavior and conduct at all times. Maintains good working relationships with other team members and other hospital departments
- Shows competent functional, technical knowledge and skills to effectively perform decontamination
- Shows competent functional, technical knowledge and skills to effectively perform Instruments prep.
- Shows competent functional, technical knowledge and skills to effectively perform all forms of Sterilization
- Adheres to standards of practice, policy and procedure to ensure patient safety
- Demonstrates an awareness of cost containment and endeavors to conserve where possible
- Co-ordinates instrument needs departmentally or from outside vendors. Supervise staff schedules and activities. Present leadership/management and unit organization
