THE WORK
This Quality Supervisor position supporting the Connecticut Assembly & Flight Operations (CAFO) Paint Shop is responsible for all aspects of quality supervision of paint shop inspection hourly associates. This position will report to the CAFO Quality Manager in the RMS Sikorsky Line of Business. The candidate will provide leadership to hourly personnel as appropriate as well as help identify process improvements in the paint shop including (but not limited to):
• Photobook creation
• Understanding criteria for paint inspection
• Reviewing and addressing hangar crabs related to paint
• Assure quality standards are implemented and adhered to
• Promote continuous improvement
• Implement, update, and maintain any standard work
Additional responsibilities related to hourly supervision include (but not limited to):
• Managing the grievance escalation process as appropriate
• Maintaining a collaborative relationship with the Local 1150
• Manage the training schedule of the hourly associates
• Managing metrics detailing hourly work force labor hour activities
• Supporting the execution of achievement of all applicable Lockheed Martin, RMS, and RMS Sikorsky business objectives

STANDARD JOB DESCRIPTION
Manages more than one functional area in Quality, Reliability, Test, or Inspection. Responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions. Responsible for resource allocation, work assignments and establishing/maintaining an effective business rhythm. Responsible for all aspects of quality for assigned area of responsibility. Communicates quality requirements, concerns and expectations. Active participant in risk and opportunity management processes. Ensures cost commitments and financial responsibilities are met. Ensures appropriate identification and flow down of quality requirements (internal and contractual) and effective implementation of quality requirements. Ensures effective implementation of quality management system within area of responsibility. Ensures effective implementation of a metrics program and actively address adverse trends. Ensures product acceptance and delivery per established process and program requirements. Note: This job code will be used for quality personnel that have lead responsibility for a program with one or more quality disciplines.
Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited University or equivalent experience
• Familiarity with AS9100, ISO-9001, and MIL-STD-1913/1917 quality system requirements
• Demonstrated use of data-driven decision making
• Ability to read and interpret Engineering Drawings

• Demonstrated ability to make critical decisions, set priorities, and provide direction in a dynamic business environment
• Strong communication skills
• Knowledge of Sikorsky processes and procedures related to aircraft production

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $95900.00 - $178100.00

- For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
