Standard Job Description
Plans, conducts, and coordinates software development activities. Designs, develops, documents, tests, and debugs software that contains logical and mathematical solutions to business/mission problems or questions in computer language for solutions by means of data processing equipment. Applies the appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the development life cycle. Applies knowledge of computer hardware and software, subject matter to be programmed in business/mission applications, information processing techniques used, and information gathered from system users to develop software. Corrects program errors, prepares operating instructions, compiles documentation of program development, and analyzes system capabilities to resolve questions of program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls. Ensures software standards are met.
Basic Qualifications
• Experienced in software development using programming and scripting languages such as Java, JavaScript, C#, Python, etc. • Experience working in an Agile development environment, including tools such as Jira and Confluence • Active Top Secret clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a SCI clearances |
Desired Skills
• Experience in application containerization (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, etc.) in a cloud environment (AWS/Azure/Openstack/Openshift) • Experience with frameworks such as .NET Core, Angular, etc. • Experience with GitLab CI/CD - Deployment pipelines, automated build, and/or configuration tools • Experience with databases (PostgreSQL & Redis) • Strong knowledge of modern technology frameworks, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), microservices, APIs, DevOps, and data architecture. • Experience with modern engineering practices such as Cross-Functional Agile teams and Capability-based planning • Active TS/SCI security clearance • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline, such as Computer Science, Software Engineering or other engineering disciplines or equivalent experience, with 5 or more years of professional experience; or 3 years of professional experience with a related Master’s degree

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $110300.00 - $204900.00

PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
