Service Global Posture Analyst
The Opportunity:
Provide support to a Service Headquarters organization in the coordination of Global Posture programs, plans, and policies. Conduct service-level research, analysis, and assessment on Global Posture programs, plans, and policies in the Indo-Pacific Region, Defense Policy Review Initiative-DPRI, USG and GOJ Alliance, defense cooperation, and Indo-Pacific force posture modernization. Assist with the evaluation, improvement, and sustainment of the service’s governance-related frameworks including planning, stakeholder coordination and messaging, meeting coordination, outcomes, and reporting. Support service-level coordination of Global Posture taskers across internal, external, and multilateral stakeholders. Attend local and international planning activities, working groups and forums as required. Keep various Service, DoD, and Joint Staff stakeholders aligned on Service policies, strategies, plans, and their implementation.

You Have:
5+ years of experience working with the Department of Defense
Experience working within a Service Department or Service Headquarters
Experience with coordinating across Departments and Headquarters on policy and strategy
Ability to manage multiple competing deadlines
Secret clearance
Bachelor's degree
Nice If You Have:
Experience with policy analysis, strategic planning, strategic communications, and military staff work including staffing and tasker management
Experience briefing U.S. military General Officers or senior executive-level officials
Knowledge of military organizational and command structure, missions, roles and functions
Ability to formulate products such as briefings, plans, guidance documents, memos, change requests and recommendations for Government review and approval
Ability to advise, negotiate, and persuade various military officials and senior leaders to endorse recommendations and adhere to guidance, policies, and regulations
Possession of strong research and analysis skills
Possession of strong oral and written communication skills
Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
