What You Will Be Doing
As the Components Engineer you will be responsible for driving the digital transformation of standard parts data, processes, and models while ensuring data quality, security, and compliance.
Your responsibilities will include:
Support Aeronautics digital transformation efforts related to standard parts data, processes, and models.
Maintain high‑quality data standards, security protocols, and compliance with industry regulations.
Develop and maintain technical documentation of data systems and architectures.
Coordinate cross‑functional activities with Design Process Integration and CAD/CAM teams.
Champion data governance practices to improve data integrity and accessibility.

Further Information About This Opportunity
MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Designs, develops, and tests a variety of power plants, aircraft, missiles, and parts, taking into consideration the most efficient use of the natural laws affecting flight. Establishes structural specifications, performs stress analysis, and conducts performance tests.
Proficient in AI prompting as it applies to this position and practice.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering
Experience with Product Lifecyle Management (PLM) systems or similar software
Experience with CATIA, SolidWorks, or other CAD applications
Proficient with Microsoft Office
Desired Skills
Experience with Xcelerator and/or 3DX
Experience with Agile project development (e.g. Jira)
Experience with data governance
Experience Python programming language
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $85300.00 - $158300.00

- For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
