Standard Job Description
You will be the Production Operations Capacity Lead (Level 2) for the LTIAMD Transformation / Go Fast Production team. Our team is responsible for coordinating complex production, development, proposal, and capacity‑planning activities that keep high‑value missile systems on schedule.
What You Will Be Doing As the Production Operations Capacity Lead (Level 2) you will be responsible for managing the operational aspects of the PAC‑3 Go Fast Production effort, clearing production constraints, and driving strategic initiatives that increase site capacity and product affordability.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: - Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to clear tooling production hurdles and ensure on‑time delivery of tooling and test sets.
- Lead, motivate, and support employees across Program Production teams.
- Drive strategy and execution of Make/Buy changes and other process‑improvement projects.
- Plan production integration and execution activities for capital, tooling, and test‑equipment requirements to meet current rates and future proposal needs.
- Build effective relationships across multiple production sites to enable mutually beneficial strategies and seamless collaboration.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in an associated discipline or equivalent combination of experience and education. - Experience driving high-rate production in a complex manufacturing environment - Strong presentation skills - Ability to obtain a Secret level clearance - Demonstrated effective communication skills including verbal, listening, technical writing and presentations - Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve technical/process issues varying from basic to very complex - Proficient in MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.) - Ability to travel domestic and/or international - Demonstrated effective interpersonal skills, including team building, collaboration and developing enduring business relationships |
Desired Skills
- Experience in design for manufacturing or design to cost
- Prior experience leading long term projects across large teams across multiple locations
- Ability to interpret drawings, electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, product/performance specifications and other systems integration technical data
- Ability to effectively present technical information to non-technical people
- Lean / Six Sigma Green or Black Belt Certification
- Experience working with Government customers
- Experience with LTIAMD production processes
- Intimate knowledge of the Lockheed Martin SAP MRP production control system
- Experience with Lockheed Martin manufacturing and assembly processes
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $70500.00 - $130900.00

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
