Job Summary
The Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for facilitating the billing process, financial analysis, and reporting for individual projects and larger, more complex client portfolios.
The ideal candidate will have excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills, be client-service oriented, and foster positive working relationships. They should be highly organized with strong time management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will also possess strong financial analysis skills and be able to articulate financial concepts in layman’s terms.
Key Responsibilities
Client Servicing
- Maintain a repository of critical client information.
- Maintain files, contracts, and other relevant documentation.
- Coordinate data collection for client audits.
- Prepare client management reporting and review project profitability drivers with account teams.
- Provide guidance to Project Management and Account teams on monthly project budget-to-actual tracking and other required client reporting.
Financial Management & Planning
- Partner with Project Managers to prepare client budgets in line with statements of work.
- Review and approve Sourcing department service orders, with appropriate oversight.
- Calculate and forecast monthly revenues based on active contracts and client billings.
- Complete client fee, project, and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Facilitate monthly billing between account staff and the Billing department and review billing reports.
- Review potential write-offs and escalate concerns to the Senior Finance Lead.
- Assist Project Managers with billing reviews.
- Ensure service orders are processed in a timely manner.
- Review project request forms for compliance and upload them into the appropriate system.
- Process purchase orders upon request.
- Run financial queries in response to staff requests.
- Provide Project Managers with time and expense details as incurred on projects.
- Review missing time reports weekly and follow up on outstanding submissions.
- Support ad hoc financial requests and projects as required.
People Management
- Provide ongoing, constructive feedback to junior staff.
- Support junior team members through guidance, coaching, and effective delegation.

$60,000 - $80,000 per year
An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, travel requirements, revenue-based metrics, any contractual agreements, and business or organizational needs.
