BAE Systems is seeking a Cost Analyst with exceptional analytic skills to join the Supplier Cost Analyst team. As a Supplier Cost Analyst, you will analyze supplier cost proposals and provide recommended negotiation positions to Subcontracts/ Procurement. Supplier Proposal Analyses are compliant with Electronic Systems estimating system policies and guidance, FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulations)/ DFARs (Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations) and Truthful Cost Pricing Data (TCPD) requirements. In addition, you will support customer request for information and audits of proposed material.Required Education, Experience, & Skills - Typically a Bachelor's Degree and 2 years work experience or equivalent experience

- Utilize analytical and computer skills, and various software packages to prepare appropriate reports and documents
- Support the analysis, evaluation, development and implementation process and system improvements within budget while adhering to strict time requirements and schedule
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills - Experience in proposal preparation with a working knowledge of Project Finance, Contracts or Subcontract Administration with a working knowledge of Cost & Price Analysis for Department of War procurements
- A working understanding of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFAR) with an emphasis on FAR/DFAR compliant proposals
- Familiarity with Cost Accounting Standards, Contract Cost Principles and Procedures, and Accounting and Proposal preparation procedures
Pay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $67406 - $114590

However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
