Position Summary
We are seeking an engaging and service-oriented Onsite Health & Wellness Program Specialist to support a client-based employee wellness program in Pompano Beach, FL. In this role, you will help employees take meaningful steps toward better health by connecting them with wellness resources, preventive care opportunities, benefit navigation support, and practical tools that meet them where they are on their well-being journey.
This is a highly visible onsite and field-based role that works closely with the plan sponsor’s Employee Benefits & Wellness team, internal partners, external vendors, and employees across a variety of work environments. The position is based in Pompano Beach, FL, follows a Monday through Friday schedule from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. with a one-hour lunch, and includes regular travel to customer worksites. The ideal candidate is comfortable building relationships, presenting wellness information, supporting one-on-one employee conversations, and coordinating programs that promote healthier lifestyles and stronger engagement.

What You’ll Do
- Support the design, coordination, delivery, and evaluation of wellness programs that educate, motivate, and engage employees at the worksite.
- Travel to customer worksites and field locations to promote wellness resources, preventive care, benefit navigation, digital tools, and in-network care options.
- Build trusted relationships with employees, customer stakeholders, internal partners, and external wellness vendors.
- Communicate with an engaging, professional style that helps build rapport with employees at all levels, from frontline teams to leadership.
- Take a proactive, organized, and accountable approach to meeting commitments and supporting customer expectations.
- Use available health, wellness, engagement, and program data to help inform wellness strategies and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Provide one-on-one and group support to help employees better understand available health and wellness resources and take appropriate next steps.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and partners, such as nutritionists, pharmacists, behavioral health clinicians, health educators, providers, and wellness service vendors.
- Serve as a wellness resource for the client, employees, and internal partners by sharing information on available Aetna and community health improvement opportunities.
- Maintain the assigned onsite schedule and travel regularly to customer worksites in support of program delivery.
- Follow conduct, behavioral, and plan sponsor policy expectations while representing the wellness program professionally.
Required Qualifications
- At least 3 years of experience supporting healthy lifestyle behavior change in areas such as nutrition, physical activity, weight management, stress management, or tobacco cessation.
- At least 1 year of experience communicating wellness, health education, benefits, or related information in one-on-one or group settings.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency using Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Teams.
- Additional experience in health insurance, healthcare services, client management, or account management.
- Wellness certification through WELCOA, the National Wellness Institute, the Chapman Institute, or a similar organization.
- CPR, First Aid, or AED certification.
- Bilingual or multilingual communication skills.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Health or a related field.

The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
