Lockheed Martin Enterprise Operations is seeking a Full-time Systems Engineer to join the Classified Cloud Operations Team.
The ideal candidate will operate at the intersection of cloud computing, infrastructure, software development and customer engagement ensuring scalable, secure, and efficient delivery of the enterprise classified cloud environment (C3E) solution.

Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems, and information technology related responsibilities including design, development, and analysis of computer systems or programs based on and related to user or system design specifications; applying systems analysis techniques and procedures, including consulting with users to determine hardware, software, or system functional specifications. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications. For positions that do not perform IT responsibilities, use E146, Systems Engineer.
Basic Qualifications
- US Citizenship; Ability and willingness to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.
- Operating Systems: understanding of Windows Server (2016/2019/2022) and /or major Linux distributions (RHEL) – installation, patching, performance tuning, and security hardening.
- Security & Compliance: understanding of security baselines (CIS, STIG), patch management, vulnerability scanning, endpoint protection, and audit logging.
- Customer Engagement: experience working with a customer-focused mindset with good communication skills. drive, curiosity, ownership, and attention to detail to keep delivering a great service to our customers.
Desired Skills
- Experience with supporting enterprise windows and linux systems in a production environment
- Familiarity with DoD Cloud environments (Azure, AWS) and compliance framework
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to create and manage technical documentation (designing, building, and documenting new environments/systems).
- Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Active Secret Clearance
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $70500.00 - $130900.00

- For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
