Role & Responsibilities
• Plans, conducts, and coordinates software development activities.
• Designs, develops, documents, tests, debugs and presents software that contains logical and mathematical solutions to business/mission problems or questions in computer language (C/C++, Rust, Python) for solutions by means of data processing equipment.
• Applies the appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the development life cycle.
• Applies knowledge of computer hardware and software, subject matter to be programmed in business/mission applications, information processing techniques used, and information gathered from system users to develop software.
• Corrects program errors, prepares operating instructions, compiles documentation of program development, and analyzes system capabilities to resolve questions of program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls.
• Ensures software development standards are met.

Basic Qualifications
• Bachelors, Masters, or Ph.D. in electrical engineering, computer engineering, physics, math, or a related discipline. • Experience in embedded software engineering. • Experience in embedded software design and development for space systems. • Fluency in C/C++, both Microsoft & GNU/Linux • Experience working in Agile software development teams. • Experience leading teams and presenting technical content • US Citizen with the ability to obtain & maintain a Security Clearance |
Desired Skills
• Experience leading agile teams of firmware and software engineers.
• Systems engineering experience to optimize system performance versus size, weight, power, cost, thermal, and other constraints.
• Experience with space software ranging from the payload, through the bus to the ground station, and to the cloud and beyond.
• Experience with Software-Defined Radios.
• Experience with radar, SIGINT, and/or communications systems.
• Experience with digital electronics architecture and components, including microprocessors, FPGAs, and/or SoCs.
• Experience with extremely high performance, wideband, tunable RF systems.
• Experience with moderate to high volume space systems production.
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $166900.00 - $309900.00

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
