Job Summary and Qualifications
As an Infusion Therapy RN you will provide patients with care that is continuously evaluated, planned for, and revised as needed. You will deliver high quality, patient centered care for Infusion therapy. You will be versatile, efficient and effective in maintaining competent care delivery throughout our unit. Our team is amazing and we consider ourselves a family, we are looking for someone who feels patient care is as meaningful as we do. In this role:
- You will integrate diagnosis data into health assessment notifying physicians of results in a timely fashion and documenting appropriately.
- You will exercise clinical competence in nursing skills and follows procedures based on department, and hospital based policies and procedures.
- You will administer pharmaceutical and blood products as ordered.
- You will provide direct care for patients in the clinic setting including holistic assessment, comprehensive wound evaluations according to protocols, and preparation of patient for medical appropriately.
- You will demonstrate competence in patient and family education on common topics including but not limited to infusion therapy, PICC line placements and removals, dressing applications and care, and life style changes.
- You will report and document in the health record via hospital accepted format including; observations, facts, assessments, plan of care, care given and outcomes of the patients care; patient classification and acuity; and other data relevant to the patient care in an appropriate and timely manner.
What qualifications you will need:
- Current Utah Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
- Associate degree in Nursing required, BSN preferred.
- American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support Course (BLS or BCLS) and Certification within 30 days,
- ACLS certification within 60 days.
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
- Proficient oral and written communication skills.
