This role offers the opportunity to enhance critical Flexera platform capabilities that support enterprise Software Asset Management (SAM), IT Asset Management (ITAM), and data quality outcomes. You will contribute across Flexera One administration, IT Visibility (ITV), SaaS Management, integrations, reporting, and continuous platform/process improvement. You’ll partner with Infrastructure, Security, Procurement, Service Management, and engineering teams to improve data reliability and deliver decision-ready insights. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex platform and data challenges in a large enterprise environment.
- Administer, support, and optimize Flexera One capabilities, including IT Asset Management, IT Visibility (ITV), and SaaS Management.
- Execute data management processes to improve inventory integrity, reconciliation quality, and governance outcomes.
- Configure and maintain inventory ingestion and integration workflows within Flexera One.
- Design, build, and maintain Flexera Business Adapters for ingestion, mapping, enrichment, and transformation of source data.
- Develop and support reports, dashboards, and scheduled exports for operational and leadership stakeholders.
- Support software compliance and true-up activities by providing reliable data, analysis, and reporting.
- Partner with ITSM and CMDB teams to align Flexera data/processes with broader service operations.
- Provide production support, troubleshooting, documentation, and continuous improvement for Flexera platform operations.
What you have
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 3-5+ years of hands-on experience administering and supporting Flexera One in a large enterprise environment.
- Strong understanding of Software Asset Management (SAM), IT Asset Management (ITAM), software lifecycle management, and asset governance practices.
- Experience managing Flexera inventory collection, inventory beacon operations, and agent deployments.
- Ability to monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve Flexera agent health, inventory collection, and data quality issues.
- Hands-on experience with Flexera One SaaS Management, including SaaS connector onboarding, license visibility, and shadow IT analysis.
- Proven experience designing, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting Flexera Business Adapters, including import/export processes, data mapping, enrichment, and transformation workflows.
- Experience supporting large-scale environments with 25,000+ Windows and Linux devices.
- Experience with REST APIs, data integrations, and enterprise data ingestion processes.
- Strong data analysis and technical skills, including SQL for data validation/reporting and scripting (PowerShell or similar) for automation.
- Experience handling JSON/XML/CSV/Excel data used for imports, reconciliation, and operational analysis.
- Familiarity with approved Generative AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot, GitHub Copilot, or equivalent technologies to assist with troubleshooting, automation, reporting, and documentation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain data and process issues to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Procurement, Security, Operations, Infrastructure, and Service Management.
Preferred Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with Flexera IT Visibility (ITV)/Technology Intelligence, including inventory collection, application recognition, software normalization, and hardware/software asset visibility use cases.
- Exposure to ITSM applications and integrations, such as ServiceNow and/or BMC Helix/Remedy.
- Experience integrating Flexera with CMDBs, endpoint/inventory tools, and enterprise data sources.
- Experience with REST APIs for Flexera data retrieval and automation.
- Exposure to SCCM/MECM, Intune, Active Directory, Tanium, or comparable inventory sources.
- Experience in regulated enterprise environments (for example, financial services or healthcare).
- Experience supporting SaaS enterprise platforms through upgrades, release validation, and production support.
- Experience leveraging multiple AI models/tools (for example, GPT and Claude via enterprise-approved tooling) to accelerate delivery and platform operations.
