Job Summary and Qualifications
Assists Supervisor and Lead Maintenance Engineers of Facilities Management as assigned. Accepts the responsibility for the continuous efficient and safe operations of equipment and maintenance personnel necessary to keep the physical structure and associated equipment of hospital in good repair. Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures. Monitors work schedule and ensures that all jobs are prioritized and completed. Supervises the personnel schedule their assignments, assist in evaluations, counseling or disciplinary action. Upkeeps a stock of parts and materials; estimate time and material costs of various projects. Able to do mechanical work, carpentry, drywalling, painting, and ceiling tile replacement, supervision, or as assigned. Performs routine maintenance service or repairs in two or more skill areas, including plumbing, carpentry, painting and plastering, electrical repairs or installations. Requisitions new supplies and equipment as needed.
What qualifications you will need:
- High School Graduate / GED
- Vocational / Technical Certification Preferred
- 5 - 10 Years of Relevant Experience Preferred
- Must be fluent in English
