Job Summary and Qualifications
The Central Transport Supervisor is responsible for day-to-day operations of the patient transporters throughout the hospital. This a non-clinical, non-certified associate responsible for providing exceptional hospitality services in an attentive, friendly and efficient manner to all patients during their stay. The main duties and responsibilities of the Central Transport Supervisor will be to lead a team of patient transporters and dispatchers as well as supervise the transportation of patients within the hospital environment by wheelchair, stretcher or bed. The Supervisor will transport patients when needed in order to keep up with the daily demand and will monitor work and leave time of current Central Transport staff. Additional duties include preparing various reports to include daily productivity and patient transport response times, maintaining equipment and ensuring transports are carried out timely and comply with the company and hospital policies.
What qualifications you will need:
- Required Education: High School Graduate / GED
- Preferred Experience: 6+ months of manager experience
- Required Experience: 1+ years o experience with inpatient transport
