What You’ll Do
As an Electro-Mechanical Technician, you’ll be part of our team located in Elyria, OH. You’ll get to:
- Layout, install and maintain a wide variety of conventional and computerized electrical/electronic and accessories and plant properties.
- Diagnose and remedy all electrical/electronic problems and troubleshooting as required.
- Capability to program, maintain and troubleshoot PLC programs.
- Any electrical work performed must comply with city, state and federal regulations.
- Must be able to mechanically and electrically/electronically assemble, disassemble, repair, rebuild and overhaul any machine in shop. Also, rebuild or repair or install any parts in machine components.
- Perform a variety of bench and machining operations on various parts.
- Hold close tolerances.
- Operates lathes, grinders, milling machines and all machine shop equipment.
- Transport hazardous material within company property.
- Operate and handle electrical/electronic measuring and monitoring equipment.

- Journeyman’s Electrical/Electronic and Mechanical Technician papers or equivalent.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience preferred.
- Prior experience with hand tools and power tools preferred
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment requiring the employee to stand and walk for majority of an 8 to 10-hour day.
- Bend, lift product, equipment and tools up to 50 pounds throughout the day.
- Push or pull product up to 200 pounds.
- Use hand tools up to 20 pounds over extended periods of time
