Summary
This position covers two critical functions of the Accounts Payable process. The role is responsible for ownership of the Caterpillar manufacturer account end-to-end process as well as the Purchasing Card program. This includes journal entries, payments, reconciliation, GL clearing and issue resolution. This position also has responsibility for managing all aspects of our Purchasing Card program. This includes card distribution and control, auditing employee expense reports, fraud management, reporting, employee support, and research and issue resolution.
Essential Functions
OEM Finance Administration – CAT
- Prepare, process, and reconcile CAT payments (weekly / monthly) throughout the month
- Assist with identifying CAT process improvements for AP and work toward resolution in collaboration with IT and business functions
- Process journal entries/invoices and GL clearing transactions
- Research and resolve exception items following CAT close monthly
- Maintain current SOPs for our end-to-end CAT process
- Participate on AP projects or other A/P tasks as needed
Procurement Card Administration
- Manage company’s P-card program including the distribution of cards in circulation and resolving fraudulent charges between merchant and employee
- Provide T&E spend analysis and reporting to management to identify improvement opportunities
- Supervise Concur Audit function and make decisions over audit exceptions
- Review company expense reports and perform monthly reviews of material out-of-pocket reimbursement expenses
- Update company T&E policy as needed
- Support employee questions/issues through the company’s help desk engine
- Oversee online resource publication featuring guides and videos geared toward maximizing employee self-reliance

Education and/or Experience
- High school degree required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
- One to two years’ related experience
- Basic accounting skills preferred
- Advanced problem-solving skills, including root cause analysis
- Requires researching, logical and analytical thinking and attention to detail
- Process improvement track record
- Curious – interested in learning process design and details
- Advanced communication skills to accommodate this visible role across the organization
