Oracle is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Senior Director to lead strategic sourcing across critical CPU and GPU categories supporting our infrastructure platforms.
This senior leadership role will be responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies that support the timely, cost-effective availability of critical technologies while balancing cost, capacity, supply continuity, supplier performance, and broader operational priorities. The position will lead strategic supplier selection, complex commercial negotiations, business awards, supplier development, and performance management across CPU and GPU technologies.
The Supply Chain Senior Director will lead a team of Sourcing Managers and work closely with Engineering, Finance, Planning, Quality, and other organizations to align sourcing strategies with technology roadmaps, new platform requirements, and Oracle’s infrastructure growth. This role requires strong CPU/GPU industry and supplier expertise, commercial judgment, executive influence, and demonstrated leadership and people management skills.

- Lead supplier assessment, selection, negotiations, business awards, supplier development, and ongoing supplier performance management.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with strategic suppliers, including executive-level engagement on complex commercial, capacity, performance, and supply matters.
- Lead complex commercial negotiations involving cost, capacity, commercial terms, supplier performance, and long-term business requirements.
- Build sourcing strategies that align supplier capabilities, capacity, commercial considerations, and technology and product roadmaps with Oracle's business requirements.
- Partner with Engineering, Finance, Planning, Quality, and other stakeholders to align sourcing strategies and supplier decisions with new platforms and business priorities.
- Drive sourcing strategies and business awards for new platforms while supporting supplier readiness, capacity, and continuity of supply.
- Establish and maintain supplier performance mechanisms, operating processes, and corrective-action plans that drive accountability and continuous improvement.
- Identify and mitigate supplier, capacity, commercial, performance, and continuity-of-supply risks across critical CPU and GPU categories.
- Develop and implement sourcing policies, procedures, and scalable operating mechanisms that reduce costs, streamline execution, and support infrastructure growth.
- Coordinate with Finance and other stakeholders on cost, sourcing, capacity, and related business considerations.
- Lead, coach, develop, and evaluate a team of Sourcing Managers to ensure effective execution and continued development of the organization.
- Direct the implementation of sourcing and operational strategies through subordinate managers while maintaining accountability for business outcomes.
- Engage internal executives and external supplier leadership to influence decisions, negotiate difficult matters, and resolve complex commercial and operational issues.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated senior leadership experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, global supply management, supply chain, or a related function within complex hardware or technology environments.
- Strong functional expertise in strategic sourcing and supplier management, with experience developing and executing category strategies.
- Strong industry, product, and supplier knowledge relevant to CPUs, GPUs, semiconductors, or closely related technologies.
- Experience supporting hyperscale cloud, data center, AI infrastructure, or comparable technology environments.
- Proven experience leading supplier assessment, selection, complex commercial negotiations, contracting, business awards, supplier development, and performance management.
- Experience developing sourcing strategies that consider technology and product roadmaps, supplier capabilities, cost, capacity, competitive commercial terms, and continuity of supply.
- Strong understanding of supplier capacity planning, performance management, risk mitigation, and scalable supply-chain execution.
- Experience partnering with Engineering and other technical organizations to translate technology or product requirements into sourcing strategies.
- Demonstrated ability to work across Engineering, Finance, Planning, Quality, and other organizations to influence decisions and drive alignment.
- Demonstrated leadership and people management skills, including experience leading managers and developing high-performing teams.
- Strong executive communication, negotiation, commercial judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
