Job Summary
In your role as Government Property Supervisor, you will support the Government Property Manager in conducting Customer and DCMA audits to ensure adherence to Material Management standards, including those pertaining to capital assets and US Government Property Audits. Additionally, you will provide coaching, direction, and assistance across all functions and levels within the site organization. You will be responsible for setting unit objectives, work plans, and schedules, ensuring that resources are available to meet established requirements and assignments. Roles and Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with FAR 52.245-1 Government Property standards across multiple sites, demonstrating expertise in regulatory adherence.
- Assist with or oversee Self-Assessments of the 10 Government Property Management Outcomes outlined in FAR, particularly FAR 45 and 52.245-1.
- Perform supervisory activities over staff including delegation of work assignments, training, evaluation, and coaching.
- May participate in budgeting, scheduling, planning, and reporting activities in alignment with objectives.
- Establish unit objectives, develop work plans and schedules, and ensure essential resources are available to meet requirements and assignments.
- Create and compile metrics and associated reports utilizing Visual Management techniques and analyze metric data to improve existing processes.
Basic Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Bachelor’s degree and 6 years of relevant experience; alternatively, High School Diploma or equivalent with 8 years of related experience.
- Demonstrated experience in team or personnel management.
- Proficiency in FAR 52.245-1 Government Property standards.
- Current Certified Professional Property Specialist (CPPS) certification from the National Property Management Association, or ability to obtain within one year.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience managing Aerospace property owned by the US Government and customers, overseeing contracts, and providing support for Government/DCMA and Customer On-Site & Limited Surveys.
- Proficiency in SAP software.
