Program Summary
KBR leads the government services world contingency market by providing responsive, full-service logistics support to forces deployed around the world under the Logistics Civil Augmentation Program contract (LOGCAP). KBR’s enduring mission support of the LOGCAP program dates back to 1992 when we served as the contract’s original prime contractor. Today, we have a workforce of over 6,000 people representing 40 nationalities who perform work on the contract in 14 countries.
Job Summary
Under limited and occasional supervision from the Program Manager of a Government Services (GS) project, independently responsible for the daily activities and contract compliance of a large sized project located on site in accordance with the established policies, procedures, systems, and requirements approved by the company. Locations are often on a military or government post, base, facility, or grounds and may include additional project sites located in close proximity with subordinate Site Managers. Supervises and directs the daily efforts of the technical and administrative sides of a project including reports, staffing, personnel management, etc. to ensure contract compliance. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, transitional activities, vendor management, client relations, project setup, contract changes, etc. Typical requirements include an undergraduate degree in an appropriate discipline and 12 years of experience in operational management of government sponsored programs and may require security clearance. Additional relevant experience may substitute for required education and prior military experience may be preferred. Should project/contract differences occur, the project requirements will prevail.
