The Advisor Services Marketing team needs to help the business deliver on the promise that we are the obvious choice for advisors. We build effective marketing strategies that strengthen relationships with our clients and ensure they understand all that Schwab has to offer. The specific goal of the Offer Marketing team is to create awareness, drive engagement, and boost adoption of our programs and solutions. Our purpose is to help advisors grow their business, meet the complex wealth needs of their clients, work efficiently by working digitally, scale their business, navigate the marketplace, and serve their clients.
The Schwab Advisor Services Marketing team is responsible for:
- Understanding the needs of our advisor based on their size and complexity.
- Designing and executing creative and effective marketing campaigns that lead advisors to take full advantage of Schwab’s products, programs, platforms, and services.
- Working with marketing and business leadership, product owners, and delivery teams on the implementation of marketing programs that support the launch and promotion of products, services, and solutions for advisors.
- Partnering with cross-enterprise groups to enhance the way advisors work, the choices they have to offer their end-clients and to deepen their relationships with Schwab.
Your Opportunity
The B-to-B Technology Marketing, Sr Manager - Schwab Advisor Services, will be responsible for creating engaging and effective marketing communications and materials that demonstrate the breadth of our platform and solutions to help advisors build and grow their businesses. Specific responsibilities will be aligned with business priorities and will include:
- Partner with product owners and subject matter experts to understand the features and benefits of our solutions, as well as the needs and experiences of our advisor-clients.
- Collaborate with business partners, sales teams, and channel owners to develop and execute marketing strategies that drive awareness, adoption, and business outcomes for priority offerings.
- Operate with a team-first mindset, proactively contributing beyond assigned responsibilities, leveraging collective expertise, and flexing to support the highest-priority Technology Marketing initiatives rather than working in functional silos.
- Success in this role requires a strong marketing generalist mindset, with the ability to quickly adapt to shifting priorities, contribute across multiple marketing disciplines, and collaborate effectively with peers to achieve shared business objectives.
- Serve as a trusted marketing advisor to stakeholders, ensuring advisor-client needs, insights, and perspectives inform business and marketing decisions.
- Design and execute integrated marketing strategies that best fit the specific target and goal including online promotions, email, sales collateral, videos, demos, and website content development.
- Lead end-to-end content and creative development, from strategy and briefing through production, compliance review, and launch, while managing timelines and stakeholder alignment.
- Manage communication campaigns in terms of the overall client experience, voice, content, style, quality, brand, and frequency of messaging to clients.
- Analyze campaigns and tactics against business goals to gauge the success of efforts and identify optimization opportunities to continuously improve marketing outcomes.
- Manage external agency relationships, project budgets, and vendor invoicing to ensure efficient execution and fiscal accountability.
What you have
- 6+ years product/program marketing experience in financial services; understanding of technology and general operational practice/issues of investment advisors preferred.
- Strong client focus and ability to think in terms of the client experience / perspective.
- History of executing successful multi-channel promotional programs and solid knowledge of marketing practices and strategies.
- Recognized ability to build strong personal relationships and trust across business lines, with ability to influence often through phone rapport.
- Demonstrated success in managing multiple projects with short timelines; well versed at connecting strategic objectives to tactical implementation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills including marketing/creative, copywriting, editing, proofing.
- Strong persuasion and presentation skills, with experience developing PowerPoint presentations that clearly and powerfully articulate a project’s objectives, strategy, and tactical plan.
- Initiative-taking with solid judgment and ability to think clearly and form a point of view.
- Familiarity with advisor technology, AI agents, and crypto currency is a plus.

In addition to the salary range, this role is also eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities.
