Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a Mid‑Level Systems Engineer to join our Program Integration team in Sunnyvale, CA. This role blends systems engineering rigor with program‑level analysis, supporting various programs within the OPIR portfolio’s full lifecycle—from risk management and schedule integration to audit liaison and contract review. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast‑paced, cross‑functional environment, translating technical insight into actionable program decisions while fostering collaboration across government, corporate, and internal stakeholders.
Core Responsibilities of the Program Integration Team include:
- Lead program integration activities across risk management, scheduling, audits, technical reviews, financial oversight, and cross-functional coordination. Maintain and execute the program Risk Management Plan, providing risk assessments, mitigation strategies, and status reporting for program interfaces and LM-managed items.
- Develop and maintain integrated program schedules and lower-level schedule representations, coordinating interdependencies, effectivity requirements, and verification/certification planning. Serve as the primary liaison for government, corporate, and program audits while monitoring compliance with Lockheed Martin processes and FORGE requirements.
- Lead effectivity and key program reviews, including BL Update CDR, CIR, MSCSR, and PMSR. Perform systems engineering analysis of contract attachments such as DD254 and SOWs.
- Track and drive resolution of TBXs, action items, and Government Furnished Property/Equipment (GFP/GFE), providing status and escalation to senior management. Support L-Code management and Control Account Management (CAM) responsibilities.
- Collaborate with program management, engineering, contracting, and government stakeholders to align technical baselines with program objectives. Identify and implement opportunities to streamline processes, improve risk visibility, and enhance schedule fidelity and overall program effectiveness.

Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.
Basic Qualifications
- Analytical skills to follow and understand relationships of hardware and software systems
- Proficient in complex program solving requiring multidisciplinary thinking
- Experience working in systems engineering or project/program management
- Demonstrated ability to integrate technical data into program‑level decision‑making
- Ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI security clearance

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $106600.00 - $198000.00

- For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
