Job Summary and Qualifications
We are currently seeking a full-time CT Supervisor. As a CT Supervisor, you must be able to work in a technical capacity performing all duties encountered by a staff technologist and supervise technologists and/or ancillary personnel assigned to the CT Department. We prioritize patient care; if you are dedicated to caring for others, this could be your next opportunity.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Maintain efficient, prompt, courteous service to 5 major areas in priority fashion: Surgery, ER, STATS, OP and IP
- Offer solutions and develop action plans in response to patient, physician or service complaints
- Coordinate all daily schedules for your department assuring no service delays
- Organize procedural workflow to assure optimum efficiency throughout the department
- Ensure all equipment is in proper working order avoiding costly downtime and unexpected repairs; Ensure preventative maintenance is performed properly
- Maintain a cohesive team atmosphere of highly motivated, patient-focused caregivers
- Assure continuous cross training of technologists and personnel
Qualifications
- High school graduate (or equivalency) plus successful completion of college/technical training program in field of practice
- Valid ARRT (CT) credential
- Clear/active Florida Department of Health licensure (CRT)
- Minimum of 3 (three) to 5 (five) years of CT experience, preferably in an acute-care hospital setting
- Must be able to lift 100 pounds and carry 50 pounds
