Primary Responsibilities:
- Solder various electronic components, wires and other electronic parts to designated locations on printed circuit boards to IPC regulations.
- Assemble microcircuits requiring fine hand assembly with the use of microscopes.
- Incorporation of engineering change to new and existing products at board level.
- Record activity into a database.
- Review ERP for proper configuration control specifications.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Working knowledge of IPC-A-610 is required.
- Ability to pass and obtain an IPC-610 certification is required.
- Basic mechanical skills.
- Basic computer skills.
- High level of attention to detail.
- Ability to read blueprints.
- Ability to interface effectively with internal customers.
- Ability to work closely with all levels of the organization.
Requirements Include:
- High school diploma or equivalent is required
- Must be a US person (US Citizen or Permanent Resident (Green Card Holder)
- 2+ years soldering experience preferred
- 2+ years related defense manufacturing experience preferred
- IPC-610 certification preferred
