As a Software Engineer at Espy, you will join a lean, agile team buildingstate-of-the-artsystems that deliver critical signals intelligence to government agencies. You will collaborate cross-functionally to design, enhance, andmaintaina high-performance Linux C++ software architecturefor a product thatcaptures high-bandwidth RF signal data and streams it to long-term digital storage. Additionally, you will implement innovative DSP and visualization algorithms,leveragecutting-edgecomputing hardware, and integrate machine learning to help customers navigate complex signal environments.
Education:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related technical field.
Signal Processing:Working knowledge of applied digital signal processing (DSP), including filtering, data transforms, multi-dimensional signal processing, and data visualization.
Preferred Qualifications:
Hardware & Data:Experience with signal acquisition hardware (SDRs, digitizers, VITA-49) and high-accuracy timing services (GPS, NTP).
Advanced Tech:Familiarity with Machine Learning, Computer Vision, CUDA, or embedded architectures (ARM, FPGA).
Infrastructure & Tools:Experience with Docker/containerization, databases (MongoDB), modern web stacks (TypeScript, Node.js, React), and management tools (Git, Jira).
