Who You Are
Directly responsible for the oversight of the Procurement and Materials team and the profit/loss of a revenue center, major product line, or support function. Accountable for the overall identification of Procurement and Material resources for business requirements. Develops, implements, and enforces the compliance of company global procurement and materials policies, builds supplier rapport, negotiates with strategic suppliers, and coordinates activities to meet the needs and productivity of an operation. Under general direction, is accountable for the performance and results of a related discipline or sub-group within a function. Manages the delivery of functional objectives by providing leadership and direction to team members. Participates in the development of functional strategy and may be responsible for global processes and procedures.
This role will be located in Chantilly, VA, and will be expected to travel between our facilities in Chantilly and Springfield, VA. This position is expected to be onsite 100%.
This is a contingent position based on contract award
What You’ll Do
As a Procurement Manager, you will:
Develop, lead and execute purchasing strategies.
Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness.
Craft negotiation strategies and close deals with optimal terms.
Partner with stakeholders to ensure clear requirements documentation.
Maintain Quality Control: Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure that all installations and repairs meet or exceed the set standards.
Facilitate Team Communication: Ensure clear and consistent communication within the team and with other project stakeholders to keep everyone informed and aligned on project goals and updates.

Qualifications:
5+ years of proven working experience as a Procurement Manager.
Knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques as well as a dexterity in "reading" the market.
Talent in negotiations and networking.
BSc degree in supply chain management, logistics or business administration.
Attention to Detail: Precision and attention to detail to ensure high-quality service delivery and compliance with safety standards.
Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing conditions, technologies, and requirements.
Decision-Making Ability: Strong decision-making skills to resolve issues quickly and effectively under pressure.
Preferred Qualifications:
Clearance: A Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) U.S. Security Clearance with a Polygraph is required to start.
