Key Responsibilities:
Duties and responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following:
- Agreement Negotiations: Negotiate Non-Disclosure Agreements, Teaming Agreements and Subcontract Agreements to include the negotiation of Terms & Conditions
- Government Solicitation Knowledge and Experience: Knowledge and experience working Government solicitations with the ability to do so independently and in conjunction with day-to-day work
- Request for Proposals/Quotes: Prepare Request for Proposals/Quote packages; Evaluate proposals and quotations
- Price Analysis: Perform comprehensive price analyses
- Document Preparation: Prepare all required documentation to include in Subcontract file to ensure CPSR compliant
- Procurement Actions Issuance: Issuance of a variety of procurement actions (Purchase Orders, Subcontracts, Modifications, etc.)
- Monitor Procurement Documents: Monitor POs/Subcontracts within purchasing system
- Peer File Reviews: Performing peer reviews on teammates procurement files
- Risk Mitigation: Identify and mitigate contract risks
- Close-out Procedures: Conduct close-out procedures

Qualifications:
Required:
- Relevant Experience: 5 + years of relevant experience in purchasing /subcontracts
- Education: B.S. / B.A. Majors: Business Administration, Business Management, Contract Administration, Supply Chain Management or Business Law
- Reasoning and Interpretation Skills: Should possess sound reasoning skills and the ability to interpret policies and government regulations in day-to-day activities
- Effective Internal Communication and Coordination: Effective communication and coordination with internal stakeholders as well as Suppliers
- Regulatory Experience: Experience working with FAR, DFARS, Agency regulations, ITAR, etc.
- Negotiation Skills: Effective Negotiator
- Interpersonal Abilities: Team Player with excellent interpersonal skills
- Microsoft Suite: Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, or Project)
Desired:
- Task Management Skills: Organized and systematic approach to task management that enables timely closure of actions
- Ability to Work Independently: Ability to work independently with limited guidance
- Deltek Experience: Professional experience with Deltek Costpoint and Deltek Timekeeping
- Microsoft Excel Proficiency: Moderate to expert excel skills
