Responsibilities:Provide tactical and/or operational level naval SME input into the analysis, design, and delivery of training products and services to meet customer Force Generation needsSupport scheduling of training events and inter-program support for Lockheed Martin staffDirectly support internal and external stakeholders to plan, prepare for and deliver individual Integrated Test & Evaluation (IT&E) and Collective Training (CT) events in simulated training environmentsProvide classroom and Trainer instruction/mentoring and provide naval SME input into training requirements with the RCN before and during scenariosFacilitate performance feedback to RCN instructors and studentsLead training continuous improvement activitiesSupport training in the role of a Warfare Commander in a simulator environment as required (commensurate with previous experience)Support the RCN by providing instructors with lesson plan integration and scenario development supportProvide support to bi-costal training teams as required to meet Customer priorities, this includes regular attendance to virtual meetings and travel to location when necessaryRecommend realistic operational insertions to improve training effectivenessSupport Lockheed Martin program lines with SME input to software development and Business Development (BD)/Capture processesSupport Lockheed Martin program lines with testing supportConduct tours and provide demonstrations of the Customer's site as tasked by the Department of National Defence (DND) and Lockheed MartinIdentify and report discrepancies, issues, and observations pertaining to Lockheed Martin delivered products to appropriate stakeholdersSupport Training Leads in macro and micro Agile work planning and reportingShare lessons learned with peers and colleagues across the organizationSupport Technical Training Manager in the maintenance of a proactive, mutually supportive relationship with our domestic CustomersSupport a growth mindset; seek opportunities for further development, mentorship and experience as aligned to personal, team, program and business prioritiesMaintain a high standard of professional excellenceWork full-time at the Customer site with minimum supervision and following common Lockheed Martin processes, but identify when change needs to occur and offer solutions to evolve processesSupport inclusivity in our day-to-day interactions, both internally across teams and programs, as well as externally with our Customers.Required Skills:Education: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in an Education-related or business discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with nine (9) years of professional experience; or seven (7) years of professional experience with a related master’s degreeNaval Experience: Operations Room Officer and/or Warfare Director equivalent qualificationsPost Operational tour experience with Sea Training Staff, Fleet Staff, Warfare Centre, or warfare training establishments would be an assetBroad understanding of Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) Operations, Rules of Engagement employment, and a detailed knowledge of RCN cross domain operationsExperience with training analysis, design, development and evaluation of comprehensive training programs. Familiarity with the Canadian Forces Individual Training Education System and RCN Collective Training System is requiredBroad understanding of CAF training establishment and processesStrong understanding of RCN warfare occupations and training progressionExperience with Lockheed Martin Combat Management System (CMS) 330Ability to effectively plan, employ Agile processes, delegate tasks, and status work to meet defined program milestonesAbility to instruct and mentor Naval Warfare Officers and Senior Non-Commissioned Officers (NCO) Operators in a broad spectrum of naval operations
