In this role you will support challenging, mission-critical projects that make a direct impact on the Nation’s security and intelligence mission.
In support of DISA, Amentum’s Intel and Cyber Division is expanding a proven team of highly skilled engineers and architects to support a program that provides critical IT capabilities to the Department of Defense. This team is committed to engineering, assembling, integrating, deploying, and sustaining an innovative IT enterprise solution.

Work Schedule: 8 Hours per day, Monday thru Friday
Essential Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of the Technical Project Manager include but are not limited to the following:
- Support the management of a complex IT engineering project from development through implementation
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of a high-impact technical solution
- Assist in the daily maintenance of the Integrated Master Schedule including updating task percent complete, milestones, dependencies, and resource allocations
- Conduct daily Scrums to track sprint progress and maintain schedules to ensure timely delivery of project milestones
- Identify and remove impediments to progress ensuring the team can work efficiently
- Track and report Work in Progress (WIP) for multiple engineering teams
- Assist with project Risk Management including identifying and reporting risks, determining Probability and Impact, and identifying Mitigation strategies
- Coordinate Sprints and User Stories across engineering teams specializing in:
- Networking (LAN/WAN, routing, switching, firewalls)
- Server/Systems (Windows/Linux, virtualization, cloud infrastructure)
- Unified Capabilities (UC) (VoIP, Video conferencing, collaboration tools)
- Apply Agile and hybrid project management methodologies to manage deliverables, team performance, and project transparency
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies (e.g., sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives)
- Track project progress using tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira, Confluence, and other PM platforms
- Prepare and present project status reports, metrics, and other deliverables to the Program Management Office
Work Environment, Physical Demands, and Mental Demands:
- Employee will work in a SCIF on a daily basis.
- Employee may also be required to work in a datacenter environment for specified periods of time.
Minimum Requirements (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):
- Must possess a TS security clearance w/ SCI eligibility, and be able to obtain SCI prior to starting on contract.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related field
- 5+ years of experience managing technical IT projects with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Must be a subject matter expert (SME) with Microsoft Project
- PMP, PMI-ACP, or equivalent project management certification.
- Demonstrated experience managing projects in:
- IP networking (e.g., Cisco, Juniper)
- Server/Systems engineering (e.g., Windows Server, Linux, VMware, cloud)
- Unified Capabilities (e.g., Cisco UC, Microsoft Teams, VoIP, video conferencing)
- Strong working knowledge of Agile frameworks (Scrum, SAFe, Kanban) and associated tools
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Proven ability to deliver projects on time and within budget in complex, dynamic environments
- Ability to travel up to 10%.
Clearance Required:
- Must have active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
Minimum Education:
- Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of Technical Project Management experience in Information Technology (IT). Additional years of experience can be substituted for formal education.
Minimum Years of Experience:
- Five (5) Years direct relevant experience
Required Certifications:
- PMP, PMI-ACP, or equivalent project management certification
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or SAFe Agilist certification
- Technical certifications such as CCNA/CCNP, MCSE, or AWS Solutions Architect
- Experience working on DoD or federal government contracts

Compensation Details:
$140,000 - $180,000
