Work Schedule: Ally designates roles as (1) fully on-site, (2) hybrid, or (3) fully remote. Hybrid roles are generally expected to be in the office a certain number of days per week as indicated by your manager. The Opportunity
Analysts are hired into CF’s lending teams based in New York and Bethesda. This position is an industry generalist analyst role. Individuals at this level work under the supervision of more senior team members in identifying, analyzing, closing, and monitoring middle market senior secured loans. Over time, an analyst increasingly works independently and develops the skills necessary to due diligence, structuring and document negotiations.

- Assist in evaluation of investment opportunities; develop credit theses and financial models by leading and coordinating all transaction due diligence including analysis of financial performance, collateral analysis, site/management meetings, competitive landscape, industry trends, and identification of other company-specific strengths/risks
- Interpretation of historical and projected financial information
- Prepare financial modeling using spreadsheets, including transaction summaries, pricing models, and cash flow models
- Assist the portfolio management team in analyzing financial statements on portfolio accounts and tracking performance trends
- Assist in ensuring regulatory compliance
- Calculation of debt repayment capacity
- OFAC/CIP/AML/Flood Insurance/Background Checks
- Risk rating analysis
- Appraisals and Environmental Reports
- Assist with special projects
- Assist in the preparation of internal approval documents provided the credit committee, detailing credit worthiness and risk assessment
- Work towards understanding and adapting to Ally’s credit culture
- Leveraging AI to drive efficiencies across the business
The Skills You Bring
Program eligibility: must be graduating between July 2026 and June 2027
BA or BS in Accounting, Finance or Economics; dual major preferred
- Excellent communication (verbal and written), interpersonal and organizational skills
- Highly analytical, detail oriented with problem solving capability
- Ability to work independently with demonstrated strong time management skills
- High level of accountability and the ability to effectively prioritize tasks
- Highly motivated, self-starter
- Technical skills: MS Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint; Bloomberg, experience with financial projection models desirable
Minimum Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience
- Bachelor's degree required
- High school Diploma or GED equivalent

Base Pay Range
$100,000.00 - $100,000.00
An individual's position in the range is determined by the specific role, the scope and responsibilities of the role, work experience, education, certification(s), training, and additional qualifications. We review internal pay, the competitive market, and business environment prior to extending an offer.
Incentive Compensation:
This position is eligible to participate in our annual incentive plan.
